Powering the Green-Economy Transition – Pipelines, Policy and People
The oil and gas sector is typically seen as being in tension with sustainability goals. In the Canada-Alberta MOU, however, the green economy is framed as a transformation in how energy is produced, transported, and managed. With this shift now embedded in policy, initiatives that support the green economy are no longer "nice-to -haves." They are core expectations.
Canada’s future green economy will be built through infrastructure. And infrastructure depends on welding and materials joining, as well as a skilled workforce capable of delivering on energy commitments over the decades to come.
